We are in need of a SHIFT SUPERVISOR to join our team as soon as possible. If you love giving great customer service, are an energetic team player & have hospitality &/or retail experience, then we want to talk to you!
We will train you on all things chocolate.
This is a full time, permanent role, including flexibility to be on the weekend rota.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily shift activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Lead, motivate, and support team members to deliver exceptional customer service
- Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate ongoing training
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate shift documentation, including reports on sales, inventory, and incidents
- Collaborate with management to plan staffing schedules and optimize resource allocation
- Conduct regular safety checks and enforce health and safety protocols
- Support inventory management by overseeing stock levels and conducting periodic audits
- Promote a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and accountability
Skills
- Proven experience in supervisory or leadership roles within a fast-paced service or retail environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to handle customer concerns with professionalism and tact
- Knowledge of operational procedures, safety standards, and quality assurance practices
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems, scheduling software, or relevant technology
