We are looking to expand our Technical Driver/Gas Sales team
Job description
We are looking to recruit a 3.5 ton gas cylinder delivery driver. You will be required to deliver to both domestic and commercial customers across the south coast areas.
Gas delivery driver duties
- To deliver and handle gas cylinders safely on vehicles, in our yard and at customers premises
- Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork, to be able to write manual invoices when necessary
- Unloading and loading of vehicles
- Some yard duties when required (sorting stock, loading cylinders onto vehicles etc)
- To maintain our high standard of customer service at all times
Required skills and experiences
- A full UK driving licence
- A valid ADR Licence(preferably Class 2 Gases) is an advantage but not essential
- Due to the nature of the work the candidate must be physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
- Able to complete tasks using own initiative, seeking guidance/input from others where appropriate
- Good literacy & numeracy skills
- optional fork lift license
Monday to Friday with Saturday mornings on a rota
Salary dependent on licenses held & experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From £26,500.00 per year depending on licenses held & experience
Experience: Driving: 2 years (preferred)
You will assist the Site Manager in the Depot operation, dealing with customers, answering phones, keeping the yard clean & tidy, but the role will predominantly be multi drop cylinder deliveries.
