Project Coordinator – Architectural Aluminium Doors & Windows

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm Friday 7am-3pm
Salary: £25,000–£30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Holiday: 20–25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (depending on experience and performance)

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Trainee Project Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within the architectural aluminium and construction industry. Full training will be provided, allowing you to develop into a successful Project Manager.
The Role
Working alongside our experienced team, you will assist with the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of projects from enquiry through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the management of multiple aluminium glazing projects.
- Producing quotations and project documentation.
- Preparing and reviewing CAD drawings where required.
- Reading and measuring from architectural and construction drawings.
- Learning and using LogiKal and other specialist aluminium door and window software (full training provided).
- Ordering materials and coordinating deliveries.
- Liaising with customers, architects, contractors, suppliers, and installation teams.
- Monitoring project progress to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Attending site visits and project meetings when required.
- Providing excellent customer service throughout each stage of the project.
- Supporting the Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and administration.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience using CAD software (preferred).
- Good computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office.
- Experience with LogiKal or similar door and window industry software would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- A professional, positive, and proactive attitude.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A trustworthy, honest, and reliable approach to work.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable, as occasional site visits may be required.
