Job Title: Temporary Electrician (Solar Installations) - Contractor
We are currently seeking 2-3 experienced Electricians for ongoing work with a growing solar installation company operating on large-scale new build warehouse projects.
This role is offering long-term work for the right candidates.
Work Scope
You will be working on commercial solar installations, including:
- New build warehouse projects
- Containment installation
- Metal tray work
- Running strings from panels to inverters
- General electrical installation and associated works
- Cutting and fitting metal containment (angle grinder essential)
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Gold Card (JIB)
- ECS Card
- NVQ Level 3 + AM2
- IPAF Licence (MUST be able to operate scissor lifts)
- Experience working at height (must not be afraid of heights)
- Own tools, including angle grinder
- Strong experience in containment and commercial electrical work
Rates & Hours
- £30 - £33 per hour (depending on experience)
- Long-term ongoing work
- Temp to perm option with full-time progression

This is a fast-growing solar business delivering large warehouse installations across the UK. You’ll be joining a solid team working across multiple active sites, mainly in the Midlands and North London regions.
