Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team at Dartford MG and Renualt. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assisting customers with their parts needs, maintaining organised records, and ensuring smooth daily operations within our automotive or machinery service centre. Duties
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct parts for their vehicles or equipment, providing expert advice where necessary
- Maintain accurate records of parts inventory using Microsoft Excel and other organisational tools
- Process sales transactions efficiently using point-of-sale systems, ensuring excellent phone etiquette and customer service
- Manage incoming calls, respond to enquiries professionally, and provide information on product availability and specifications
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure parts are available for scheduled repairs or services
- Keep the parts department tidy, organised, and well-stocked to facilitate quick retrieval of items
- Support stock control by monitoring inventory levels and reordering supplies as needed
- Maintain clear communication with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of parts
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone manner
- Strong organisational skills to manage inventory records accurately and efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, tracking stock levels, and generating reports
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures related to automotive or machinery parts is advantageous
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and delivering exceptional customer service
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously

Pay: £30,000.00-£38,401.55 per year
