Senior Dental Nurse / Clinical Support Coordinator
Full-Time Position (Part-Time Applications Also Considered) | Immediate Start Available
Newholme Clinic – Felpham, Bognor Regis
At Newholme Clinic, we are looking for an ambitious, caring and professional Dental Nurse to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop beyond traditional chairside nursing. We are seeking a team member who has an interest in patient care, dental technology, digital dentistry, practice organisation, and potentially compliance and clinical governance.
Our modern, state-of-the-art practice offers advanced digital dentistry, implant dentistry, orthodontics, facial aesthetics and oral rehabilitation, providing an excellent environment for professional growth and development.
The Role
We are ideally seeking a full-time Dental Nurse to become an integral part of our team.
However, we recognise that exceptional candidates do not always fit a traditional full-time schedule and would therefore be happy to consider two part-time applicants whose skills and experience complement one another.
This role offers far more than traditional chairside nursing and would suit someone looking to expand their skills and responsibilities within a progressive and growing practice.
The successful candidate may become involved in:
- Chairside dental nursing
- Front-of-house support when required
- Patient journey coordination
- Compliance and clinical governance support
- Digital dentistry workflows
- Intraoral scanning and digital treatment planning
- Dental laboratory liaison and case management
- Stock control and surgery organisation
- Supporting the implementation of new technologies and systems
For the right candidate, this role has the potential to evolve into a senior position with additional responsibilities and career progression opportunities.

We would particularly love to hear from candidates who:
- Are passionate about dentistry and patient care
- Enjoy learning and developing new skills
- Have an interest in digital dentistry and dental technology
- Have an interest in dental laboratory work and restorative workflows
- Are highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented
- Have excellent communication skills
- Take pride in maintaining high clinical standards
- Enjoy being part of a supportive and ambitious team
- Are keen to contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice
Essential Requirements
- Current GDC registration
- Evidence of Hepatitis B immunisation
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two satisfactory references
- Two forms of identification
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience with implants, orthodontics or digital dentistry
- Compliance or governance experience
- Experience with Dentally software
- Interest in scanning, digital workflows and laboratory communication
- Additional qualifications or post-registration training
What We Offer
- Competitive salary dependent on experience and responsibilities
- A supportive, friendly and forward-thinking working environment
- Opportunities for career progression and role development
- Ongoing training and professional development
- Exposure to advanced digital dentistry and implant workflows
- Modern, fully equipped practice with state-of-the-art technology
