UK Fostering is rated OUTSTANDING in all categories by Ofsted. We are looking for a Recruitment Officer for our Head Office based in Dartford (South East), however, you will work closely with our Midlands, North East and North West offices. The successful applicant will report directly to the Family Finding Manager and work with a small team. It would be beneficial if the applicant had a genuine interest in Children Social Care and Fostering.
The Recruitment Officer is responsible for supporting the recruitment of Foster Carers and managing carer enquiries from initial contact through to application.
What the role entails:-
- Allocating face-to-face/remote initial visits to social workers
- Ensuring reports and related records are received, checked and saved accurately
- Assisting regions with recruitment strategies
- Supporting enquiries into applications by maintaining regular, timely contact
- Supporting recruitment campaigns, events, open evenings & community engagement
- Respond to/manage enquiries through social media/recruitment platforms
- Blog writing and proofread articles before they go live
- Maintain enquiry records, visits, follow-up actions/outcomes on the in-house database
- Progressing all enquiries made to the Agency in a timely manner
- Working in line with safeguarding/confidentiality and the Agency’s policies at all times
- Answering phones and taking messages, plus other ad hoc duties as required.

- Excellent written, verbal and organisation skills
- Confidence speaking with people from a range of backgrounds
- Professional, empathetic and resilient approach
- An understanding of fostering, children’s social care, recruitment, customer service or community engagement is beneficial to the role

Salary range - £26,000 to £30,000 depending on experience
