Front of House Team Member – Part Time
Join our fantastic Front of House team at The Sign of the Angel, a historic Inn in the beautiful village of Lacock!
We’re passionate about great food, exceptional service and genuine hospitality, and we’re looking for enthusiastic and confident people to join our team.
Our kitchen team are regional and national award winners, and we currently hold 2 AA Rosettes, alongside being finalists in the Food Lifestyle Awards 2025.
The Role
We are looking for part-time Front of House Team Members to join our restaurant team.
Availability to work weekday daytime shifts is essential for this role. There will also be shifts available during evenings and weekends, so flexibility across different days and service times would be ideal.
Previous hospitality or restaurant experience would be ideal, but it’s not a dealbreaker. If you have the right attitude, confidence and enthusiasm for hospitality, we are happy to provide full training.
Due to our rural location, reliable transport is essential, as public transport options to and from Lacock are limited.

- Keen to learn and develop
- Able to work well in a busy restaurant environment
- Experienced in hospitality would be ideal, but previous experience is not essential
Your Responsibilities
- Providing warm, friendly and professional service to our guests
- Taking and serving food and beverage orders
- Running food and ensuring dishes reach guests correctly
- Having a good knowledge of our menus and recommending food and drinks
- Following our sequence of service
- Using our EPOS till system
- Keeping tables and service areas clean and presentable
- Clearing tables efficiently throughout service
- Working as part of a close-knit team to deliver an exceptional guest experience
- Acting as an ambassador for The Sign of the Angel
- Carrying out any other reasonable duties required to support the team
