What does the job involve?
The assembly operative will be responsible for assembling engineered parts prior to delivery to Customer.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Install units, parts, equipment and components in structural assembly according to customer specifications, using hand and power tools
- Perform miscellaneous duties in the assembly area as directed
- Follow all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures
- Ability to interpret drawings and follow standard operating procedures
- Follow 5s procedures and work in an organised manner
Required Attributes
Demonstrate a good attitude towards work
Follows instructions and demonstrates strong attention to detail
Mechanically inclined, good manual dexterity
Previous experience in aerospace, engineering, manufacturing or a similar assembly environment is desirable
Education, Skills and Experience
Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions
Practical / hands on work experience
Working Hours
- Weekly Rotating 0600/1400 - 1400/2200
- 37 hours per week
