We are seeking a motivated Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Assisting dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising equipment in accordance with infection control protocols
- Providing support to patients before, during, and after treatment, including explaining procedures and offering reassurance
- Managing patient records accurately and maintaining organised appointment schedules
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as updating patient information and handling correspondence
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the clinical environment at all times
- Supporting the team with stock management and ordering supplies as needed
Experience
- No prior experience necessary; full training will be provided to develop essential skills
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Basic IT skills for managing electronic records and scheduling systems
- Organisational skills to maintain a tidy workspace and manage multiple tasks efficiently
