Northern Telecom is a growing group of Telecoms and IT businesses. We're looking Finance Manager to oversee our organisation’s financial health and ensure robust financial management across three of our businesses. The ideal candidate will possesses experience in financial accounting, planning, and services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's growth by implementing effective cost control measures and managing financial operations with precision.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including ledger management, reporting, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
- Develop detailed financial plans and budgets, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Implement cost control initiatives to optimise expenditure without compromising quality or operational efficiency.
- Supervise the preparation of financial statements, forecasts, and analysis for senior management review.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
- Manage outsourced an outsourced book keeping function
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance on projects and investments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial management
- Strong background in financial accounting and familiarity with accounting software systems.
- Demonstrated ability in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
- Experience managing accounts payable processes efficiently and accurately.
- Expertise in cost control strategies to optimise organisational expenses.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and analytical thinking abilities.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA are preferred but not essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
