We are looking for dynamic Sports Coaches to join our ever growing team, to support with the delivery of high quality PE and Sports Coaching. The schools are mainly in the Luton, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard and Hitchin areas.
SportsCool delivers outstanding coaching to children, making sports accessible to all, and most importantly, making sport fun. With extensive experience as one of the UK's leading sports and dance coaching organisations, we see the children we work with blossom into confident, healthy and aspiring individuals. We provide innovative and high-quality coaching, working with over 35,000 children in over 150 schools per week. Our business is successful and growing, so we are now on the lookout for experienced Sports Coaches to join our passionate team.
Joining us, you will provide high-quality one-to-one coaching and group support, using your energy and enthusiasm to encourage children to take up the fun and enrichment of sport. This role is perfect if you are an experienced coach or someone looking to grow your experience in a Primary School setting. As an organisation known for the quality of our coaching, we look after our coaches, whose individual success is fundamental to our business.
Your key responsibilities:
- Support and coordinate the delivery of PE and sports coaching sessions in Primary Schools.
- Deliver sessions in a variety of school settings, ensuring full integration into class activities.
- Reinforce learning and behaviour routines while providing a fun and safe learning environment.
- Provide excellent customer service to both schools and parents.
Essential requirements:
- At least one NGB Level 2 Coaching Certificate.
- An enhanced DBS check.
- Full driving licence and vehicle.
- Creativity and imagination.
Ideally you will be confident managing groups, with a friendly and approachable ‘can do’ attitude. A knowledge of Safeguarding and safe practice would be desirable.
We also will be able to offer you on-the-job training and ongoing qualifications to help you further your career and enhance your coaching knowledge. Over the years we have employed many inexperienced sports coaches and given them a variety of sports qualifications and coaching knowledge, which has enabled them to fulfil their goal of becoming teachers and attaining places on competitive PGCE Physical Education courses.
