Chief Inspector Promotion Familiarisation Event

Cleveland Police is pleased to announce an upcoming opportunity for officers aspiring to become Chief Inspectors. Applications will be welcomed from substantive Inspectors seeking promotion, as well as substantive Chief Inspectors from other Home Office forces wishing to apply for a lateral transfer.
Eligible officers who are considering applying are strongly encouraged to attend this familiarisation event.
The session will provide valuable insight into the Chief Inspector role, including the responsibilities of the position, an overview of the selection process, and the qualities and standards Cleveland Police seeks in its senior leaders. Deputy Chief Constable David Felton will outline his expectations of future Chief Inspectors and provide guidance on what candidates can expect throughout the process.
Representatives from the HR Recruitment Team will also be available to explain the application process in detail and answer any questions attendees may have.
