Support Worker – Lindisfarne Court, Darlington
Hours: Various hours available - up to 37.5 hours per week
Hourly Rate: £13.45 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent
Lindisfarne provides specialist 24-hour care and support for adults with physical disabilities. Our goal is to create a genuine home environment where the people we support are empowered to make their own choices, maintain their independence, and live fulfilling lives.
We are looking for caring and committed Support Workers to join our established team. In this role, you will support adults with learning and physical disabilities, helping them to achieve their individual goals and enjoy a meaningful and independent lifestyle tailored to their needs and preferences.

Essential Criteria
- Demonstrate the core values of the Charity.
- Hold an NVQ Level 2 in Care, or be willing to work towards achieving it.
- Ability to follow guidance and work effectively under direction.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Comfortable providing personal care and support.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including sleep-ins.
- Ability to support and participate in social activities, outings, and holidays where required.
- Committed to maintaining confidentiality, honesty, and reliability.
- Respectful of diversity and committed to treating all individuals with dignity, regardless of cultural or religious background.
