This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced care professional who is ready to take on a senior leadership role within a growing domiciliary care organisation.
As Registered Care Manager, you will have a key role in ensuring that our service users receive safe, compassionate and person-centred care, while ensuring the service operates effectively and in accordance with CQC regulations and standards.
You will provide strong leadership to our care and office teams, oversee the quality of our services, support business development and contribute to the continued growth and success of the organisation.

About the Role
As Registered Care Manager, you will be accountable for the safe, effective and efficient management of our care operations.
You will provide effective leadership, ensure high standards of care are maintained and help create a positive culture focused on quality, safeguarding, dignity and person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the delivery of care to service users to the highest professional standards.
- Ensuring services meet and exceed relevant CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
- Providing effective leadership, guidance and support to care and office staff.
- Monitoring the quality, safety and effectiveness of care services.
- Maintaining service capacity and supporting the continued growth of the organisation.
- Supporting business development and identifying opportunities to grow the service and develop new care packages.
- Building and maintaining positive professional relationships with local authorities, social workers, healthcare professionals, service users and their families.
- Responding to referrals and supporting the development and implementation of new care packages.
- Promoting the organisation's services and reputation within the local community.
- Managing care packages and ensuring services are appropriately staffed and resourced.
- Managing and developing staff, including supervision, training and performance management.
- Ensuring care plans, risk assessments and other care documentation are accurate, current and compliant.
- Supporting audits, inspections, quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health and social care legislation, policies and procedures.
- Managing resources effectively and ensuring the efficient operation of the service.
- Maintaining excellent communication with service users, families, care workers and external professionals.
- Managing information appropriately and maintaining confidentiality.
- Participating in an on-call rota alongside other members of the management team.
- Keeping professional knowledge, skills and competence up to date.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
- Supporting the organisation's strategic development and continued growth.
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident, organised, compassionate and experienced in managing care services, with the leadership skills to motivate a team and maintain excellent standards of care.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care / Health and Social Care, or be willing to work towards the qualification.
- At least 2 years' experience working with elderly people within the last 5 years.
- At least 1 year's experience working at a senior level within a care environment.
- Previous experience within a domiciliary or home care setting.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations and standards.
- Experience of managing care staff and care services.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care.
- Experience or an interest in business development and service growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and numerical skills.
- Excellent IT and administrative skills.
- The ability to work independently while also leading and motivating a team.
- The ability and willingness to participate in an on-call rota.
- A commitment to ongoing learning, training and professional development.
