About the role:
Justteachers is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant, who is looking for a Long term role, in a Primary school in the Penwortham area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.
This friendly primary school is recognised for its nurturing atmosphere and strong community values. Staff work closely together to create an engaging and supportive learning environment for all pupils.
Key Skills and Attributes:
- Supporting pupils during lessons and learning activities
- Delivering small group intervention sessions
- Assisting with classroom preparation and resources
- Encouraging positive behaviour and participation
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs
- Monitoring progress and reporting to teaching staff
Pre-requisites:
- Previous UK primary school experience essential
- Strong understanding of classroom support roles
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
- Ability to support pupils across different abilities
