Reports to: Regional Support Manager
Contract: Permanent
Working Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off (or alternatively 4 nights on, 4 nights off)
Hours: Average of 42 hours per week
Based: Stafford (ST18)
Hourly Rate: £13.45 per hour.

WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for somebody reliable, well mannered, with good communication skills and a valid SIA Front Line Security Guard Licence or SIA Front Line Door Supervisor Licence. With a keen eye and a brilliant way with people, you must be a friendly face who enjoys helping the public and being on your feet all day. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out regular and thorough perimeter patrols to maintain the integrity of a sensitive construction site
- Maintain a high level of vigilance and awareness at all times, reporting any suspicious activity immediately
- Communicate effectively in English (sufficient for clear communication, instructions, and report writing)
- Act as the first point of contact for all on-site security incidents and escalate where necessary
- Meet, greet, and verify all visitors, ensuring strict adherence to sign-in and identification procedures
- Enforce robust access control measures, permitting entry to authorised personnel only
- Work closely with site management and representatives to uphold strict security protocols and safe working practices
- Produce clear, accurate, and detailed handovers to ensure continuity between shifts
- Complete comprehensive incident reports in line with site and company procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence or SIA Security Guarding Licence
- Must be able to pass enhanced pre-employment screening and security clearance checks (BS7858:2019 Security Screening standard)
- Must have valid Right to Work in UK documentation
- Ability to provide verifiable references (employment and/or personal where required)
- Must be able to obtain a Basic DBS check
- Excellent understanding of the English language (verbal and written)
- Professional, reliable, and able to work within a high-security / sensitive environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures and protocols.
