- Are you patient, understanding and passionate?
If you have answered 'yes' to the above then please get in touch ASAP!
I'm working with a special school that are on the lookout for a TA to join the team to support KS3 children as general classroom support. The school class themselves as SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs) but also have a variation of SEND in the school. They're a fantastic school that do incredible work which makes a real difference in setting these children up for adult life.
They preferably want someone who has worked with SEMH children before and is used to dealing with challenging behaviour (Team Teach training preferred but not essential). You need to be calm, caring, patient, confident and passionate. Ideally you need to be able to start ASAP and this will be a placement until at least the end of the summer term.
