Aquaforce 2009 Ltd is an established local building contractor with a strong and growing workload. Due to ongoing demand and new projects, we are looking to recruit an experienced Joiner to join our busy team.
We undertake a wide range of domestic and commercial building projects, including extensions, renovations, refurbishments, property maintenance and general building works. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced joiner who is looking for steady, varied work with an established local company.
The Role
The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of joinery and general building works across our projects. Duties will include first and second fix joinery, fitting doors and windows, roofing and structural timber work, kitchen and bathroom installations, refurbishment work and general joinery associated with building projects.
We are looking for someone who can work to a high standard, take pride in their work and complete tasks efficiently and professionally.
The Successful Candidate
You should have:
- Proven experience working as a joiner within the construction industry
- Good knowledge of first and second fix joinery
- Experience working on renovation, refurbishment and building projects
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A good eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- A professional attitude and good communication skills
- Your own tools and transport
Additional experience in areas such as roofing, plastering, tiling or basic plumbing would be advantageous, although not essential.
