Squirrel Hotels is a family-owned hospitality business with two beautiful hotels in the North of England. At the heart of our collection is The Morritt Hotel & Garage Spa – a charming country house hotel renowned for its warm welcome, award-winning spa, outstanding restaurant and stunning weddings.
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Casual Housekeeping Assistant to join our housekeeping team on a zero-hours contract. While hours vary to meet the needs of the business, regular daytime shifts of up to 20 hours per week are typically available.
About the Role
Our housekeeping team plays a vital part in creating memorable stays for our guests. You'll help ensure our bedrooms and public areas are spotless, comfortable and beautifully presented, maintaining the high standards our guests expect.
Your Responsibilities
- Cleaning and servicing guest bedrooms and bathrooms
- Changing bed linen and replenishing guest amenities
- Vacuuming, dusting and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Keeping public areas clean, tidy and welcoming
- Following health and safety procedures
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, positive and dependable
- Proud of delivering high standards
- Able to work efficiently with good attention to detail
- Flexible to work weekdays and weekends as required
- A good team player
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage.
