Purpose of the Role
The Associate Consultant is engaged on a contract basis to deliver defined consulting and/or training services to clients. The role exists to provide flexible, high-quality capability to support client engagements, contributing to the delivery of outcomes aligned to project objectives while operating independently as a supplier.
This role is outcome-focused, with responsibility for delivering agreed services, outputs, or work packages rather than fulfilling an internal position within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver consulting and/or training services in line with agreed Statements of Work
- Analyse client requirements and contribute to problem definition and solution development
- Produce high-quality deliverables (e.g. reports, presentations, training materials)
- Facilitate workshops, or training sessions where required
- Manage own workload to ensure timely and quality delivery of outputs
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify requirements and present findings
- Identify risks, issues, or opportunities and proactively communicate them
Required Skills and experience:
- Demonstrable experience in a consulting, advisory, or training delivery role
- Proven ability to deliver defined work packages independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience engaging with stakeholders to gather and interpret requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Aviation industry experience within a safety-critical or regulated environment
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience working within regulated environments (e.g. EASA, CAA or equivalent)
- Familiarity with consulting methodologies and structured problem solving
- Experience in training delivery or facilitation
- Exposure to management systems, risk, or compliance frameworks
- Prior experience working as an independent contractor or consultant
