Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Cleaner to join our team at Townfield & Coach House Care on Church Street in Great Harwood. This role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff, aligning with our mission to deliver personalized and high-standard care.
The Hours of work will be averaged 14 hours per week, working 4 hours per day (Week 1=16 hours, Week 2=12 hours)
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential care home facilities to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and products effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen spaces.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently.
- Assist with laundry and other light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Support a respectful and caring atmosphere for residents and staff.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
- Good communication skills.
- Previous hospital or healthcare environment experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Reliable, punctual, and respectful attitude.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely.
