We’re looking for a Dryer Operator to join our Production team, helping us deliver high-quality products safely, efficiently and consistently. This is a hands-on, technical role where you’ll take ownership of the dry end of the paper machine and make a real impact on performance, quality and continuous improvement.
What you’ll be doing
As a Dryer Operator, you’ll:

Operate the dry end of the paper machine to meet quality and performance standards

Optimise machine efficiency and performance

Identify and resolve operational, process, and product issues

Monitor equipment condition and support maintenance activities
-
Provide clear communication and reporting across the team

Support and guide the Machine Assistant

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including safety, housekeeping, and workplace organisation
-
Ensure strict adherence to safe systems of work and procedures
This is a Grade D 3 shift role

Have experience operating within a manufacturing or production environment (papermaking experience desirable)
