We're growing! Having recently taken on several new clients, we're looking for a reliable, hands-on Cleaning Supervisor to help lead our team and keep standards high across our client sites.
This is a varied role that blends people management with being out on the ground. You'll oversee a team of cleaners, be the friendly face our clients deal with day to day, and make sure every site is safe, presentable, and running smoothly. As you'll be travelling between sites, a full driving licence is essential.
What you'll be doing
- Managing and supporting a team of cleaners across multiple sites
- Overseeing health & safety across all sites and making sure standards are met
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and resolving any issues
- Arranging and providing cover for staff sickness and absence
- Managing the team's holiday and rotas
- Assisting with recruitment as the team continues to grow
- Rolling up your sleeves and cleaning yourself when needed to keep sites covered
What we're looking for
- A full, valid driving licence (essential — you'll be travelling between sites)
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally with some supervisory or team-leading responsibility
- Confident managing people and keeping a team motivated and reliable
- A solid understanding of health & safety in a cleaning environment (or willingness to be trained)
- Strong communication and customer service skills — you'll be representing us to clients
- Well organised, proactive, and calm under pressure
- Happy to be hands-on and lead by example
Hours
- Monday to Friday, 3:00pm–7:00pm
- Plus 1–2 weekends per month, depending on business needs
- Flexibility is important, as hours may occasionally vary to suit client needs
Pay: £14.00 per hour
