We are currently looking for a Semi Skilled Baker to join our team at Kerr's.
Start time: 4am (bearing in mind limited public transport at these hours)
Duties will require you to:
- Follow recipes provided to make, cut & scrape sponge/biscuits
- Able to use large machinery for mixtures
- Ice Empires, jam/cream biscuits, cut pans and jam/coconut sponge
- Able to work as a team but eventually be able to work on your own also
Training will be given but some sort of experience would be highly beneficial as we are a very fast paced bakery. All our work is hard labour as it is all hand made cakes, attention to detail is crucial but must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
Start date: IMMEDIATE
THIS ROLE HAS ALLOCATED ANNUAL LEAVE/HOLIDAYS WHICH MAY FROM YEAR TO YEAR BE SUBJECT TO SLIGHT CHANGE.
Example holiday year for this role may look like the following:
1 WEEK - EASTER HOLIDAYS (SCHOOL)
2 WEEKS - JULY - (SCHOOL HOLIDAYS)
1 WEEK - OCTOBER - (SCHOOL HOLIDAYS)
REMAINING LEAVE ENTITLEMENT - CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR
