We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on merchandise, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising practices.
- Handle transactions accurately using the till, ensuring basic math skills are applied for cash handling.
- Manage time efficiently to meet customer needs and maintain store operations smoothly.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are highly desirable.
- Proven organisational skills with a keen eye for detail in merchandising displays.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
