The School of Business and Law is a vibrant part of the university, delivering a wide range of programmes and growing an exciting partnership with a wide range of employers. We require an interim Head of the School of Business and Law with substantial academic leadership experience and the ambition to drive forward the strategic growth agenda and to deliver fundamental KPIs.
Reporting to the Executive Dean (Academic), this post will play a key role in the Senior Leadership Team and the Head of School will represent their School to external and internal stakeholders. The role will require you to have significant academic or professional experience in an area relevant to business and law.
You will have strong leadership skills with a proven understanding and appreciation of the academic discipline and the educational landscape, and evident impact on curriculum, research and knowledge exchange. A proven track record of leading curriculum and portfolio growth and development to provide excellence in learning and teaching and student experience is also essential. Through collaborative working and excellent organisational skills, you will develop and lead a team with complex workloads, encouraging cutting-edge subject knowledge and research, and have an innovative and compassionate approach to all aspects of the student journey.
This role will be located at Leeds Trinity University campus Horsforth, Leeds with significant presence at our City Centre campus also. Through our agile working framework, there will be the option to spend some time working remotely to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
