Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. Prior hotel experience, hospitality knowledge, or janitorial experience will be considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and minibar items as required
- Follow established procedures for waste disposal and linen handling
- Assist guests with their requests courteously and professionally
- Maintain a high level of organisation in assigned work areas
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties throughout the shift
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent guest service
