Call for New Members: Board of Governors
The City College and The City College of Acupuncture are looking to recruit three new members for our Board of Governors. We are seeking individuals who can provide strategic oversight, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the continued success of our institution.
We are currently looking for:
- Financial Governor: A finance professional (e.g., accounting, audit) to oversee financial sustainability and risk management.
- Higher Education Governors: Individuals with experience in the UK Higher Education sector to support academic quality and OfS compliance.
What is involved? These are voluntary, unremunerated roles. While unpaid, travel expenses incurred for meetings are reimbursed. Governors must be able to attend meetings in person at our premises in Old Street, London, roughly two to three times per year.
Requirements: Successful applicants will be required to meet the OfS "Fit and Proper" person criteria and operate in accordance with the Nolan Principles of Public Life.
