We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team and perform daily tasks. The goal is to ensure that the kitchen is clean and organized, that all necessary food and supplies are on hand and ordered, and to maintain a positive work environment.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly and efficiently as possible
- Prepared simple food items including toasties and paninis, ensuring consistent quality, correct portioning, and adherence to basic food hygiene standards.
- Collecting and washing up kitchen crockery and utensils
- Cleaning food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery
- Unloading food and equipment deliveries
- Keeping the storeroom organised
- Keeping work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised
Ability to use kitchen equipment such as knives, cutting boards, blenders, mixers etc is also required.
