We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This is an important role that helps keep the kitchen running smoothly and supports our chefs during busy services.
The Role As a Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running efficiently, while also helping the chefs with basic kitchen tasks. You will be an essential member of the team and will help ensure that service runs smoothly every evening.
Key Responsibilities
Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and organised throughout service. Cleaning kitchen equipment, work surfaces, floors and storage areas. Receiving and storing deliveries correctly. Taking out rubbish and recycling. Assisting the chefs with basic food preparation when required. Carrying out any other kitchen duties requested by the Head Chef. Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times. What We’re Looking For A reliable, punctual and hardworking person. The ability to work well under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and a strong team spirit. Good attention to cleanliness and organisation.
