The Role
The Role - We are seeking an enthusiastic, well-presented Sales Assistant with a proven track record in sales. You will share our passion for premium furnishings and outstanding service, working on your own initiative to keep our Penryn store running to exceptional standards. Because we operate on a competitive commission structure, a proactive approach to building rapport and confidently closing sales is central to this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive & Close Sales: Actively engage customers, demonstrate features/benefits, and confidently close sales across our sofa, dining, and bed ranges.
- Customer Care: Guide customers through choices, answer product questions, and resolve service issues or complaints.
- Store Operations: Complete sales orders, process payments, and support the Store Manager with clerical duties.
- Visual Merchandising: Assist in preparing and arranging premium merchandise for display and delivery.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Previous sales experience is a big advantage, particularly within high-end goods or similar retail environments.
- Drive: A motivated, self-driven individual who loves hitting targets and closing deals.
- Attributes: A courteous, professional, and authentic person who thrives in a team environment.
- Availability: Flexibility to work a 5-day rota across Monday to Sunday.
Note: While previous experience gives you a strong head start, full in-house sales training will be provided to help you master our products and maintain a high level of sales performance.
Hours & Schedule
- Full-time: 5 days per week, Monday to Sunday.
- Monday – Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Sunday: 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM
