Housing Support Planner – Community Based
37 hours per week | Monday–Friday (Flexible between 8am–6pm)
Are you looking for a housing-related support role where you can work in the community and make a real difference to people’s lives — without providing personal or regulated care?
Framework has an exciting opportunity for a Housing Support Planner – Community Based. This role focuses on tenancy sustainment, resettlement, and homelessness prevention, supporting people to live independently and maintain their accommodation.
Must have experience of working with homelessness and vulnerable adults.
The Role
You will work with people living in Framework accommodation across the community, providing practical, housing-related support. The role involves outreach work, partnership working, and creating tailored support plans to help individuals achieve positive housing outcomes.
This is not a personal care role. Support is focused on housing, tenancy skills, and independence.
Key Responsibilities

Provide housing-related tenancy support to service users in the community
- Complete assessments, support plans, reviews, and risk assessments
- Support individuals to sustain their tenancies and prevent homelessness
- Assist with housing applications, move-on options, and resettlement
- Support service users with budgeting, life skills, and practical tasks related to independent living
- Liaise with external agencies including Local Authorities, mental health services, GPs, hospitals, and substance misuse services
- Work closely with internal teams such as Housing Management, Rents, and Voids
- Manage a varied caseload across the county, mileage paid for travel
- What We’re Looking For
- Experience in housing support, tenancy support, or a similar role
- Knowledge of tenancy management and housing-related support
- Ability to build professional, supportive relationships
- Strong communication, organisation, and record keeping skills
- Willingness to travel across Mansfield and Ashfield
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
What This Role Does NOT Involve

- No regulated or clinical care tasks
- No overnight or on-call duties
