Job Summary

Duties
- Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Support individuals in following their personalized care plans to meet their specific needs
- Help with household chores including meal preparation, light cleaning, and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including updates on health status and daily activities
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Support transportation needs by driving clients to appointments or outings when required
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Valid driving license and ability to drive safely are preferred for supporting transportation duties
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members
- Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic care records and documentation
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and compassionately
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude towards supporting others
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings as needed
