Job Title: Shot Blast Technician
Reporting to: Night Shift Manager
Working Hours:
Nights - Your hours of work will be 07:45pm to 06:00am Monday - Thursday
Key Objectives
As a Shot Blast Technician you will be responsible for shot blasting various metals and heavy fabrications. Reporting to the Management Team, you will be efficiently and effectively preparing all steel components for the application of protective coating.
Responsibilities Include:
Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations
- Maintaining production area housekeeping
- Minimise waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently
- Maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
The company requires all employees to adopt a flexible approach to work and you will be required from time to time to perform other duties. We will ensure that you will be adequately trained to carry out these tasks.
Key skills and experience
- This role is ideally suited to a hands on, organised, proactive and self-motivated individual. Suitable candidates will have:
- Hands on paint-spraying experience ideally in commercial vehicle bodywork or trailer manufacturing
- High quality automotive painting experience of specified materials such as stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium
- Ability to ensure production target output and quality is maintained
