Project Support Administrator
Full Time (40 hours per week)
Working Pattern (5 days per week), Permanent (immediate start)
Caice is an award-winning designer and manufacturer of environmental building products working on a variety of construction projects in the UK. This is an exciting newly created role within our Special Projects Team who specialise in the realisation of bespoke acoustic louvres, acoustic panels & weather louvres screens and enclosures across the construction industry - ranging from data-centres and Energy from Waste plant (EFW) to hospitals and universities as well as infrastructure such as the London underground and airports.
This role offers an exciting insight into a specialised construction environment that has great environmental impact across the UK. It also leads to a career path for those with ambition and drive. You will be responsible for project administration from the initial scoping of a project through to completion including case studies using bespoke software systems.
What you’ll be doing:
Working with our Senior Project Support Administrator, supporting Contracts, Estimating and CAD teams within our Special Projects Department and liaising with both internal and external clients.
You will have a wide variety of projected administrative support tasks including;
· Arranging Deliveries
· Coordinating schedules and preparing information for meetings/site visits.
· Reporting defects
· Processing sample products
· Compiling cost sheets, raising Production purchase orders and invoices
· Gathering data to be billed
· Administering schedules
· Assisting with surveys alongside engineers or project managers
· Processing project documentation, retaining complete records for handover to Project Managers
· General project/client paperwork
· Attending contract meetings and notetaking
Skills and Experience - what you will bring to the role
· A good general education to at least A level standard is desirable
· Relevant experience in an administrative / customer role
· Some experience and understanding of projects (preferably in construction)
· Proficiency using Microsoft Office
· Excellent interpersonal and phone skills
· Thoroughness, accuracy, consistency and attention to detail
· Self-motivation and able to work as part of a busy team
· Ability to quickly learn specialised systems
