We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Full-Time Chef to join our busy kitchen team at The Jamaica Inn in Bangor, Co. Down.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking chef who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in producing high-quality food.
Position Details
- Full-time position
- 4–5 days per week
- Includes evenings and weekends

Responsibilities
- Working across all sections of the kitchen
- Operating fryers and preparing cooked-to-order dishes
- Preparing fresh starters and homemade desserts
- Daily food preparation and stock rotation
- Maintaining high food hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Working efficiently as part of a team during busy service periods
Requirements
- Previous chef experience is essential
- Experience working with fryers
- Ability to make homemade desserts and prepare fresh starters
- Strong food prep and organisational skills
- Good time management and ability to work under pressure
- Positive attitude and team-player mentality
- Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety procedures

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Work Location: In person
