We are looking for a Security Engineer who is passionate about designing secure systems, strengthening cyber resilience, and solving complex security challenges. Key Responsibilities
Security Engineering: Design, implement, and maintain technical security controls across cloud, network, endpoint, and infrastructure environments.
Threat Detection & Incident Response: Monitor security events, investigate potential threats, respond to incidents, and recommend long-term improvements.
Vulnerability Management: Perform vulnerability assessments, prioritize remediation efforts, and work with technical teams to strengthen overall security posture.
Infrastructure Protection: Configure and maintain firewalls, endpoint protection, identity and access management solutions, and security monitoring platforms.
Risk & Compliance: Support security audits, maintain security documentation, and ensure systems align with recognized security standards and best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with infrastructure, development, and operations teams to integrate security throughout the technology lifecycle.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: 3+ years of experience working as a Security Engineer, Cyber Security Engineer, Information Security Engineer, or in a similar cybersecurity role.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security, vulnerability management, SIEM platforms, endpoint protection, identity and access management, and security best practices.
Problem Solving: Able to investigate complex security issues, analyse risks, and develop practical solutions that balance security and business needs.
Communication: Comfortable explaining technical security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders while collaborating effectively across teams.
Mindset: Curious, proactive, and continuously learning. You stay informed about emerging cyber threats and enjoy improving systems before problems arise.
Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
