Woodhouse Environmental Service is a well-established and expanding HVAC and renewable energy company specialising in the installation, servicing and maintenance of Air Conditioning, Air Source Heat Pumps, Plumbing & Heating, Solar PV and Renewable Energy Systems throughout the South of England.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated HVAC Service & Maintenance Engineer to join our team.
This role is focused on planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, servicing and repairs across both domestic and commercial properties.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and maintaining split, multi-split, VRF and VRV air conditioning systems.
- Servicing and fault finding on Air Source Heat Pump systems.
- Diagnosing electrical and refrigeration faults.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Responding to reactive breakdowns.
- Completing commissioning checks where required.
- Producing clear service reports using electronic job management software.
- Advising customers on system performance and potential improvements.
- Ensuring all work complies with current legislation, manufacturer requirements and company standards.
- Maintaining excellent customer service and professionalism at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience within the HVAC industry.
- F-Gas Category 1 Qualification.
- Proven experience servicing and repairing air conditioning systems.
- Experience working on Air Source Heat Pumps.
- Strong fault-finding skills (electrical and mechanical).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude with pride in delivering quality workmanship.
Desirable Qualifications
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
- Unvented Hot Water Qualification (G3).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Manufacturer training (Samsung, Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Panasonic, Vaillant, etc.).
- Experience with renewable heating technologies.
