Systems Analyst
Based onsite at The Fine Cheese Co. SN14 8HZ | Regular travel to Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
Are you an experienced Systems Analyst who loves solving problems, improving processes, and turning business needs into great technology solutions?
We’re looking for a proactive, analytical and confident Systems Analyst to join the teams behind The Fine Cheese Co. and Artisan Biscuits — two established and growing names in the artisan food industry. This is more than a systems support role. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how our businesses work, influence change and make a visible impact across our systems, processes and technology.
What you’ll be doing
- Analyse and improve IT systems and programme processes.
- Turn business requirements into practical technology solutions.
- Work closely with stakeholders and external IT partners.
- Lead requirements gathering, solution design and testing.
- Identify and resolve system issues and defects.
- Support system enhancements and business change.
- Create documentation and deliver training where required.
- Challenge existing ways of working and identify opportunities to improve.
What we’re looking for
You’ll bring (Essential skill set)
- Proven experience as a Systems Analyst.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good IT and systems project management experience.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with process mapping and improvement.
- A proactive, organised and commercially aware approach.
- Confidence to work independently and challenge when needed.
- Good Microsoft Office skills.
Experience with ERP/Tropos, Gold Vision CRM or Magento 2 would be a bonus.
