Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our organisation's online presence across various social media platforms, engaging with our community, and enhancing our brand visibility. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Manage daily content creation and scheduling across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, PInterest, Facebook, Youtube, LinkedIn, and others.
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and engagement opportunities; respond promptly and professionally.
- Analyse social media metrics to assess campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and optimise messaging.
- Coordinate with external partners or influencers to expand reach and foster positive public relations.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in social media management and digital communication tools.
- Assist in organising online campaigns or events that promote organisational initiatives.
- Work alongside senior management to ensure growth is targeted alongside company goals
- Experience
- Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles.
- Strong understanding of public relations principles and best practices.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging content tailored to different audiences.
- Experience using social media management tools such as Metricool, SocialPilot, or similar platforms is desirable.
- Knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics or native platform insights to track performance metrics.
- Creative mindset with an eye for visual design and storytelling.
