About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and professional MAPPA Administrator to support the Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) process. This is a vital role within the Public Protection Unit, providing administrative support for the management of high-risk violent and sexual offenders through effective coordination of multi-agency meetings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for organising meetings, taking accurate minutes, managing confidential information, and supporting effective communication between partner agencies. This role requires discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a sensitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Arranging meetings through consultation with internal and external agencies
- Preparing agendas and take minutes of meetings
- Creating & maintain databases for confidential information and distribute confidential information
- Identify internal and external information sources and obtain information from Agencies
- Producing and manage correspondence
- Arranging all travel requirements
- Receiving visitors and brief re confidential nature of environment
- Liaising with finance section re payment of invoices and order stationery and other items
- In the absence of the coordinator liaise/advise as appropriate
- Any other duties that are commensurate with the role and grade as may be requested by management.
What We're Looking For
Essential Criteria
- Numeracy and literacy skills demonstrated by GCSE Grade C or equivalent English and Mathematics or comparable practical experience
- Minimum of RSA II Typing and Word Processing or relevant experience (may be tested at interview)
- Good keyboard skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience of minute taking
- Ability to work unsupervised in a confidential manner
- Full driving licence due to need to attend remote and sensitive sites
Desirable criteria
- Demonstrate an ability to work with other agencies/Forces
- Shorthand (80wpm) or audio skills
- Two years secretarial experience

Pay: £27,204.00-£30,333.00 per year
