Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to join our team at Best Options Care. In this role, you will provide essential support to our service users, ensuring they maintain their independence and quality of life in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist service users with daily living activities, including personal care and meal preparation.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
- Communicate effectively with service users to understand their needs and preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in health or wellbeing.
- Support service users in engaging with community activities to promote social interaction.
- Drive service users to appointments or social events as needed.
Requirements
- Experience in home care or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
- Ability to develop and follow care plans tailored to individual needs.
- A valid driving license is mandatory.
