Plumbing & Heating Engineer – Gas Safe (Domestic)
Location: Sutton, Surrey – covering South London & North Surrey
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
We are a friendly, family-run plumbing and heating company based in Sutton, Surrey, looking for an experienced Gas Safe Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our team.
Requirements at a Glance
- Gas Safe qualified – domestic boilers, cookers & fires
- Unvented Hot Water (G3) qualified
- Strong boiler servicing, breakdown, repair & installation experience
- Confident working across a wide range of boiler manufacturers
- Strong knowledge of domestic central heating systems
- Good general domestic plumbing experience
- Knowledge of heating controls, smart thermostats & associated wiring
- 1st & 2nd fix plumbing experience desirable for residential project work
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, professional and able to work independently
- Ideally based within a 30-minute commute of Sutton
The Role
This is a varied position covering domestic residential properties across SM, KT, CR, RH, SW and SE areas.
Typical work includes:
- Boiler servicing, breakdowns, fault-finding and repairs
- Boiler installations and replacements
- Landlord Gas Safety Certificates
- Vented and unvented cylinders
- Central heating repairs and installations
- Radiators, TRVs, pumps, valves and controls
- Smart thermostats and heating controls
- General reactive plumbing and repairs
- 1st & 2nd fix plumbing on larger residential projects, where suitably experienced
- Bathroom, kitchen and heating system plumbing as part of project work
