About the Role
We are seeking a Booking Agent with a passion for travel, customer service, and motorhomes to join our growing motorhome rental business.
This is a customer-focused role where you will handle inbound enquiries, speak with customers interested in motorhome and campervan hire, and help them find the right vehicle and rental package for their trip.
You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service throughout the booking process, from the initial enquiry through to confirming the reservation.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound telephone calls and online customer enquiries
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries
- Help customers choose the most suitable motorhome or campervan for their needs
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings and reservations
- Provide accurate information on pricing, availability, rental terms, and packages
- Explain booking procedures, vehicle specifications and rental requirements
- Recommend suitable extras, add-ons and upgrades where appropriate
- Follow up outstanding enquiries and potential bookings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM system
- Process bookings and ensure all customer information is recorded correctly
- Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure a smooth booking experience
- Handle customer questions and resolve issues professionally
- Provide a high standard of customer service at every stage of the customer journey
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, bookings, reservations, call centre, travel or a similar role is desirable
- Excellent telephone and written communication skills
- Friendly, professional and confident manner when dealing with customers
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable using computer systems and CRM software
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities
- Self-motivated, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- A genuine interest in travel, tourism, campervans or motorhomes is desirable
