Shift Pattern: day shift and day shift with sleep-ins on a rota basis, including weekends.
- Day shifts: 8:00 am - 8:30 pm.
- Day shifts with sleep-ins: 8:00 am - 11:00 pm, followed by a sleep-in, finishing at 8:30 am the following morning.

The Role
We're looking for compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our growing team.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting children and young people within our residential homes. Successful applicants will work as part of a dedicated team to provide high-quality care, promote positive outcomes, and maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
● Provide day-to-day care, supervision, and emotional support to children and young people.
● Build positive, trusting relationships that promote stability and positive outcomes.
● Support young people with daily routines, education, appointments, and recreational activities.
● Promote independence, life skills, and emotional wellbeing.
● Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, incident reports, and handovers.
● Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times.
● Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to meet the individual needs of young people.
● Support children with emotional and behavioural needs using therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches.
Requirements
● Minimum of 2 year's experience working in a residential childcare setting (within the last 5 years)
● Experience working with children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) or challenging behaviour is desirable.
● A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
● Emotional resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
● Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
● Flexibility to work a rota that includes day shifts, sleep-ins, and weekends.
● Hold a full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential).
● Must have the Right to Work in the UK.
Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
