At Savoy Timber we have three retail DIY shops & timber yards located throughout the North West. We are currently looking to find a new member of our team to work in our store and timber yards at our Wigan branch. A suitable candidate will also have a driving licence and be able to carry out deliveries when required. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in the timber industry and be comfortable serving in our timber and decking yards. They must be fit and able to lift heavy products as necessary.
Responsibilities include:
- Serving customers in our retail environment and being able to provide a good knowledge of our products.
- Delivering orders to customers locally in our company vehicles.
- Loading vehicles with timber/ worktop/ door products.
- Heavy lifting of timber, composite decking, worktops, doors and various other products.
- Forklift driving (licence advantageous)
We are looking for someone for an immediate start, the work is hard but very rewarding, we have a great team and work ethic. Our reputation is extremely important to us and as a driver and team member you will be representing the company.
