Our drivers are at the heart of our business delivering against our promise to protect what matters in a practical way, by being responsible for the collection, destruction, movement and unloading of confidential wastepaper and electronic storage devices on behalf of various customers within the professional, financial and retail industries. Being a skilled and safety conscious driver you’ll be the key point of customer contact and will play a critical role in delivering service excellence to our clients.
In addition to being one of our key service drivers, you will
- Act as a key point of contact with our customers, completing all relevant documentation and issue of certificate of destruction via a hand-held terminal.
- Provide customer liaison services on site skills
To succeed in the role you should:
- You’ll have relevant driving experience, a Class 2 License as well as a Full Driver CPC and Digi Card
- Present a flexible approach and be able to demonstrate safe working practices at all times, being comfortable in stopping work and helping others to identify any potential problems.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to security, safety and professionalism.
- Be able to adhere to all Tachograph, Driver and Road Regulations.
- Be able to able to undertake heavy lifting and physically demanding work, involving the safe movement of large, wheeled units on and off vehicles.
- Previous experience working in a similar industry and/or in a multi drop service driving role would be advantageous
