About the role
The Worcestershire Door Company is looking for an organised, confident and motivated Sales Estimator to join our growing team.
This is an office-based role within our windows and doors business, responsible for preparing quotations, processing contracts and managing the administration involved in taking a customer from initial enquiry through to installation.
The ideal candidate will have experience within the windows, doors, glazing, construction or home improvement industry, although this isn’t essential for the right person.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing accurate quotations for windows, doors and associated products
- Responding to customer enquiries by phone, email and in person
- Following up quotations and helping convert enquiries into sales
- Preparing and processing customer contracts
- Checking measurements, specifications and product requirements
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and installation teams
- Maintaining accurate customer and job records
- General office administration
- Assisting with scheduling and coordinating installations
- Ordering products and checking orders before they are placed
- Dealing with customer queries throughout the sales process
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day duties
About you

- Confident communicating with customers
- Comfortable working with figures and preparing quotations
- Computer literate
- Commercially minded
- Professional, friendly and approachable
- Able to manage multiple jobs and deadlines
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and keen to develop their knowledge
Previous experience in windows, doors, glazing, construction or estimating would be advantageous but is not essential.
Salary & benefits
- £27,500 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Performance-based bonuses
- Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
- Full-time, permanent position
