Job Summary
We are a successful, growing firm of local solicitors, specialising in probate, trusts, court of protection and private client work across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire. We help clients navigate difficult life events and support them as people, with straightforward advice, a listening ear and a sense of humour.
We are looking for a Private Client Paralegal to join our busy team based in our Worksop office, on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work closely with our experienced solicitors, providing them with both administrative and legal support. You will help the firm take client matters from beginning to end and deliver a first-class service throughout, with care and professionalism that leaves a lasting impact.

Duties
- Dealing with client telephone enquiries and arranging appointments
- Managing client onboarding processes, including ID and AML checks
- Opening, maintaining, and closing client files in accordance with firm procedures
- Drafting routine correspondence and legal documentation
- Maintaining accurate records and updating case management systems
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and other third parties
- Assisting with probate applications, deeds of trust, estate administration, land and trust registration, subject to supervision and dependent on experience
- Assisting with legal research
- Assisting with post, filing, billing and general office administration
- Supporting business development, including collecting positive client reviews
Essential Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised, with a methodical approach to your work
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and legal case management systems
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience working in a solicitors and/or a Private Client department
- Knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, court of protection and/or private client work
- Experience drafting routine legal documentation under supervision
- Familiarity with Clio case management software or similar
- Understanding of legal compliance, client onboarding, and AML procedures
- LL.B / BA degree or equivalent
- PGDIP / SQE or equivalent
Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
